Anastacio Mireles

WESLACO - Anastacio Mireles, 67, passed away on February 20, 2021, at his home in Weslaco. Anastacio was born on August 17th, 1953 to Ernesto Mireles and Elojia Garcia Mireles in Weslaco, Texas. Anastacio married Adela V. Mireles and they were married for 30 years.

Anastacio was an excellent provider and worked hard to make sure his family was cared for. Anastacio loved to cook for his family, and he was a great cook. He was also full of joy and loved to make other people laugh. He loved to dance and listen to oldies and watch old westerns. Most importantly, Anastacio was a devout Catholic and had an unwavering faith in God.

Anastacio is preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Elojia Mireles, and his wife, Adela V. Mireles. He is survived by his children, Marlene Zamarripa, Ernesto J. Mireles, Evone Mireles, Anastacio Lee Mireles, and Mario Mireles, ten grandchildren, Debra A. Gonzalez, Nina Nicole Zamarripa, Lily M. Molina, Brandon L. Molina, Athen A. Lopez, Kennedy E. Lopez, Grayson R. Lopez, Ernesto J. Mireles Jr, Felicia A. Mireles, and Lisandra R. Mireles, and nine great-grandchildren.
