Eloida P Garza

Weslaco: Eloida P. Garza, 74, passed away at her home on Monday, December 28, 2020. Eloida was born on September 1, 1946, to Jose Garza and Salome Pina Garza. She grew up in Weslaco and raised one son, Eddie. Eloida loved her nephews and nieces, and at one time or another, she had the opportunity to babysit them all.
Eloida loved her family. She was like a mother to her siblings and nieces and nephews. She was also caring and protective. She loved to play bingo and the slots machine. She loved to sew, cook, and talk to people—a social butterfly at heart.
When she prepared food, she was always ready to call friends and family to
share what she had.
Eloida is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Salome Garza, brothers, Jose Jr., David, Neto, and Art Garza. Eloida is survived by her son, Eduardo Guajardo, grandchildren, Zierra and Bryan, sisters, Rosita G Diaz and Irene Garza Gomez, of Weslaco, Melda Garza Morales (Joel) of McAllen, Melinda Garza-Lopez (Javier) of Donna, Melissa Garza-Salinas (Fred) of Pharr.
