    Gary Bruce Lamp

    November 28, 1948 - April 29, 2022

MISSION - Gary Bruce Lamp, 73, previously of Hoyt Lakes Minnesota passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Mission Regional Hospital. Gary was born on November 28, 1948, in Minneapolis, MN to Charles and Bernice Lamp. He married Julie Mae Hauri on December 17, 1966. Gary worked as a truck driver for Halvor Truck Lines until he retired and moved to Mission, Texas with his wife Julie in 2014. Gary loved to fish and do carpentry projects. He loved playing cards with his friends and family visiting and sitting on the deck. He was well-loved by all. Gary is survived by his wife Julie of 55 years. His children Jodi Dickerson of Mission, Texas and Pamela (Darren) Lechevalier of Biwabik, MN. Grandchildren Michelle fields, Ashley (Lincoln) Silcox, Gary Bowling, Brandin (Anneissa) Lechevalier, Jina bowling, Cory Lechevalier and Nik Dickerson. His great-grandchildren Adrianna Laprarie, Neveah and Hannah Gams, Lochlain Bowling, Rhys Lechevalier, Alarik Silcox, Brys Lechevalier; and many Nieces and Nephews. He is proceeded in death by his grandmother Christine Eichstadt and uncle Les Eichstadt, parents Charles and Bernice Lamp, brother Charles Lamp Jr. and beloved pet Winston. We little knew that day, God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death, we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you. You did not go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us beautiful memories, your love is still our guide; and although we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
