Leticia Espinosa

Donna- Leticia Espinosa, 58, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2020, at DHR Hospital in Edinburg. Leticia was born on February 26, 1962, to Alberto Espinosa and Dominga Villegas Espinosa in Mexico.

Leticia married Juan Torres Sr. and they raised six children together in Donna, Texas.
Leticia was a super mom, always putting her family's needs before her own. Leticia was selfless and caring.

Leticia loved her animals; she had three cats, three dogs, and some puppies. She loved working in the yard and gardening.

The most critical time in Leticia’s life was December 24, 1995, when she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Saviour and was baptized. She served the Lord with all of her heart, mind, and soul. Leticia used her God-given gifts to bring others to Christ as well. She was very spiritual and was always willing to help her church family with projects to help the community. She was a prayer warrior and whether it was thru fasting or encouraging them to participate with their time and gifts.

Leticia is survived by her husband, Juan Torres, children, Claudia Arizaga (Juan), Juan Torres (Erica), Jose Luis Torres (Maria Elena), Marisol Torres, Selene Rodriguez (Reynaldo), Jorge Torres (Ana), and Jesus Torres, grandchildren, Juan, Adolfo, Salma, and Genesis Arizaga, Juan Angel, Ninel, Juan Jr., and Fabian Torres, Salma, Jose Jr., Karla, Gladys, and Angelica Marie Torres, Viviana and Omar Sanchez, Gilbert, Juan, and Valerie Diaz, Dulce, Reynaldo, Ashley, Roli, and Romeo Rodriguez, Nathalie, Natasha, Jorge Jr., Dylan, Jordan, and Damien Torres, great-grandchildren, Leonel Valle, Mateo and Vivian Castillo, Deliza and Jayden Sanchez, and Leticia Arizaga, brothers, Demetre, Ricardo, and Manuel Espinosa, and sisters, Nora and Rosa Espinosa.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, 2020, from 10 am-9 pm, with a celebration of life at 6 pm.

A prayer service will be Friday, August 7, 2020, at 12:30 pm, followed by a 2 pm burial.
