Noneita Priscilla West

CORPUS CHRISTI - CORPUS CHRISTI - Noneita Brown West passed away on 7/21/2020. Noneita was born on December 11, 1933 to Walter Travis Brown and Emma Frances (Ogg) Brown in Philadelphia PA. She was the last child in a family of eight, six girls and two boys. The family moved to Merchantville NJ in 1941. Noneita graduated as a Registered Nurse from Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia PA. She eventually became Chief Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit. Later she earned a BSN in Nursing from Arizona State University.

Noneita married Camest West on September 26 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Merchantville, NJ. She and her husband lived in Phoenix AZ for 35 years. She liked theater and took part in university plays, winning some awards. Noneita enjoyed travelling with her husband in their recreational vehicle, visiting all over the USA as well as Mexico and Canada up to Alaska. She also travelled to many places around the world.

In 1997 Noneita joined the First Baptist Church of Corpus Christi, TX, and was a member of the Maco Sunday School Class. She also attended daily classes from Dr. Arnold Murry, D.R.E (Gravette, AK) via television. She really enjoyed these classes and faithfully studied with him for four to six classes a day.

Noneita is survived by three step children of her husband, Wray West (FL), Lawrence West (CA), and Cynthia West Howeth (HI).

Noneita has now gone to be with her heavenly father. She was a kind and loving person, and a joy to be around.
