Susan del Pino, age 75, passed away on April 17, 2022, at her home.
Susan was a resident of the Southgate Retirement Community, Pharr, Texas. She was the daughter of Halsey L. Wood and Susan B. Berger, She was a graduate of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and Katharine Gibbs Business School, New York City. Susan worked as a legal secretary in New York and New Jersey before moving to the Rio Grande Valley where she was employed by Donna I.S.D. as a secondary teacher of English from 1993 to 2002.
An avid reader, Susan's major interests were art, history, and travel. She is survived by her Oklahoma cousins Cheryl Wood-Meyers, Wilburton, Deanna Downing Poteau, and Charles "Butch" Wood, Edmond.
It is Susan's express wish that there be no memorial service and that she be remembered by her friends in their own special way.
