Abraham Hernandez, a devoted husband, beloved father, and proud grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on May 13, 1961, Abraham lived a life rooted in hard work, deep love for his family, and a joyful spirit that touched everyone around him.
Abraham was a skilled welder, known not only for his craftsmanship but for a work ethic that was second to none. Dependable and diligent, he rarely missed a day on the job and quickly earned the respect of his colleagues. His reputation extended beyond the workplace, as he formed genuine friendships that stood the test of time. Much of his career was spent at Texana Pickle Producers, where he worked closely with Frank Gonzales Jr.—a trusted supervisor who became a lifelong friend. Later, Abraham joined Johnson Controls Inc. as a forklift operator, where he continued to build meaningful connections and leave a lasting impression on everyone he met.
Abraham took great pride in everything he owned and cared for, especially his home, his yard, and his car. Known for his meticulous nature, he kept his vehicle spotless, whether through regular car washes or professional detailing. The same care was extended to his home and lawn, where he was always working on a new project or perfecting the landscape. He worked hard to earn what he had, and he honored it with the same diligence that defined his character.
Away from work, Abraham was a man of many passions. A loyal fan of both the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys, he rarely missed a game. He loved music, especially dancing to cumbias, and was always ready to share a laugh or enjoy a good action movie. He had a special fondness for the Discovery and History channels, often immersing himself in documentaries about Arab culture, reflecting his curious mind and love for learning about the world.
Sundays, Abraham often found himself at flea markets, where he delighted in the thrill of the hunt for hidden treasures and bargains. However, his greatest joy was found in the time spent with his family. Whether hosting backyard cookouts, dancing, or simply sharing stories, Abraham’s sense of humor, warmth, and kindness lit up every gathering. He adored his grandchildren, and his playful, caring nature made him a favorite among them.
Abraham also enjoyed traveling with his beloved wife, Rosalinda, especially during their visits to Monterrey, where they would reconnect with loved ones and explore their family roots.
Of all his accomplishments, Abraham’s greatest legacy was his family. He cherished his wife, daughters, and grandchildren above all else, and his legacy lives on in the love he poured into each of them.
Abraham will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will be treasured not just for the life he lived, but for the love he gave and the joy he brought to so many.

----
