Arturo Posada-Ortega

DONNA - Arturo Posada-Ortega, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2023, at Mesa Hills in Brownsville. Arturo was born on August 24, 1964, to Arturo Posada and Juanita Ortega. Arturo was the eldest of seven siblings, so he helped raise them all. 

 Arturo was outgoing and talkative and could carry on a conversation with anyone. In addition, he loved to go fishing and play poker with his friends. 

Arturo was a hard worker. He spent most of his life working in agriculture outdoors and manual labor. 

Arturo was a Christian man who believed in God. 

Arturo is preceded in death by his father, Arturo, and sister, Abigail Posada. 

 He is survived by his mom, Juanita; his sons, Eliazar Posada, and Josue Posada, both of North Carolina; siblings, Azarel Posada, Alejandra Posada, Aron Posada, Adrian Posada, and Amador Posada; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be Sunday, May 28th, 10 am-9 pm at McCaleb Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, May 29, at 2 pm, at McCaleb Funeral Home, followed by burial at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna.
