As director of professional development at San Juan College, I worked with Charles and Alice when they taught at San Juan College. Charles was dedicated to working with our students. He was engaged and wonderful to work with. I am honored to have worked with him. May he Rest In Peace. Love you to, Alice.
Coach Kromer was a great basketball coach, he coached with passion and fire. He coached me, my last 2 years of High School in Bloomfield NM. I would often see him around the community at the grocery stores. The last time was in 2014 I believe. He had great impact on our team and players those 2 years. Im very blessed to have been coached by him. RIP
My Dad, Don Ice, who lives in Farmington, NM read about the passing of Charles in the Farmington Daily Times this morning. He found Charles' name to be interesting and wanted to know if he had any relatives from the West Virginia / Pennsylvania area. My father's name was Ward Kraemer Ice and one of his brothers was Kromer Ice. Just didn't know if this was coincidental or if there was any family connection. God bless your family and the outstanding life of Charles. Kathy (Ice) LaMotte [email protected]
