Donna- Enrique Gonzalez Jr. from Donna, Texas passed away at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance on January 19, 2021, after a short illness. His passing fulfilled his last wish; to be with his wife Lucilla (Lucy) Oliveira Gonzalez+ (2013).
Enrique was born in Paras, NL on September 6, 1928. Enrique & Lucilla were married for 62 years.
He is survived by his children Estella (Chuy) Negrete, Mario Gonzalez, Anna (Ricardo) Gonzalez, Elsa (Robert) Robles, Victor Daniel (Diana) Gonzalez.
Grandchildren: Luis Eduardo Gonzalez, Yvonne Leonor Robles, Fernando Gonzalez, Victoria & Nicholas Swanson, and Marco Antionio Negrete+.
Great-Grandchildren: Zoey, Amelia & Olivia Gonzalez.
Enrique and Lucy were owners of "Casa Lucy" in downtown Weslaco from 1967-2012. Mr. Gonzalez loved the people of Weslaco & Donna.
His wishes were to be cremated & entombed with his wife & son (Jose Luis) in Paras, NL.
A small service was conducted by Deacon Johnny Gonzalez, and a private family viewing was held at McCaleb Funeral Home.
