Fidel Diaz

Weslaco- Fidel Diaz, of Weslaco, 93, passed away April 15, 2014 with his wife and family by his side. He was born in Doctor Arroyo, Mexico. He was a laborer and agriculturer. He was married to Elizabeth Diaz for 66 years.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Diaz; his children, Rosa Elia Pena (Robert), Ismail Diaz (Barbara), Efrain Diaz, Noelia Garcia (Jaime), Abel Diaz (Lilly), Estela Rodriguez (Robert), Maria Zuniga (Ramiro), Ely Diaz and Eduardo Diaz (Tammy).
Also surviving is a sister, Hermerhilda Martinez; and 17 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 2:00 pm at McCaleb Funeral Home Chapel in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Weslaco City Cemetery.
