Helen Gomez

MCALLEN - Helen Gomez passed away at her home in McAllen, TX on January 7th, 2021 surrounded by family. She was 79. She died of natural causes.
Helen was predeceased by her husband J. L. Gilbert Gomez Sr. She is survived by her children, Gilbert, Dennis, Deborah, and Steve. Including daughters-in-law, Terrie, Lil, and Amy.
Plus, Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
Helen was well-read and an exquisite conversationalist. Always one to be composed, she beckons an era from which having a single red hair out of place would be unheard of. Her quick wit and words offered the most nuanced of details.
She loved to tell stories. And she would spend time with her grandchildren sharing stories and listening to their adventures.
She was a creative force. She loved interior design and enjoyed nurturing her plants and trees.
Helen loved the nature of people. She was especially loyal to her family. She was their foundation.
Helen was a woman of faith. She meditated over the bible throughout her life.
She was a dedicated servant of Jehovah.
This world will truly miss her light.
