Maria H. Hinojosa

WESLACO - Maria H. Hinojosa, 73, died on Monday, February 2, 2015 at the Aurora House in Weslaco. Maria is preceded in the death by her parents, Guadalupe Garza and Doroteo Cantu, her brothers, Doroteo Jr., Cantu Jesse Cantu, Gilbert Cantu, Ernest Cantuo,"Pelon" Cantu, and Alfredo Cantu and her sister Romana Cantu.
She is survived by her loving husband of nearly 50 years, two son's Miguel (Lora) III, and Martin (Brenda), one grand-daughter Dianne Hinojosa, brother, Eloy (Alicia) Cantu and numerous nephews and nieces.
Maria was a licensed beautician and she enjoyed traveling with her husband and keeping the books for their family owned business, Mike's Plumbing for 40 years. She loved dancing the night away with her husband. Special thanks to the Aurora House in Weslaco as they were so kind and loving.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1pm-9pm, with a Rosary at 7pm at McCaleb Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, February 5th, at St. Joan of Arc and 10:00 am and interment to follow at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.
