You were never just my great aunt — you were like a grandmother to me, a second home, and one of the biggest blessings in my life. Some of my favorite childhood memories were made with you. From reading books together at the library, going to theater plays, walking downtown Weslaco, picking up pizza, swimming at the Esmilda house, playing tea parties and dress up, to making breakfast together — every moment with you was filled with love, laughter, and warmth.
You were always there cheering us on at every dance recital, always supporting us, encouraging us, and making us feel so loved. You helped build not only our childhood memories, but also the foundation of who we are today. You taught us kindness, strength, family, and most importantly, faith. Your love for God and for family shined through everything you did, and that light will stay with me forever.
Thank you for the comfort you gave, the lessons you taught, the traditions you created, and the unconditional love you showed so effortlessly. You made ordinary days feel special, and your presence brought peace and joy wherever you were.
No matter how much time passes, I will forever carry your love, your wisdom, and the beautiful memories we shared in my heart. I am so grateful God gave me you.
I love you forever and always.
