Noe Gonzalez Sr.

Edinburg- Noe Gonzalez Sr., 67, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 1st, 2023. Noe was born on September 2nd, 1955, to Simon Gonzalez and Maria Loya in Weslaco, Texas. Noe grew up in Weslaco and his family migrated up North in the summer. He loved hanging out with his family and friends, cruising around with son, Noe, and listening to Spanish music, and having a good time. Most mornings you would find him drinking coffee with the gang at Whataburger on Texas Blvd.

Noe is preceded in death by his parents, Simon Gonzalez and Maria Loya, brothers, Robert and Ben Gonzalez, and a baby sister who died as an infant, Mary Ellen Gonzalez, nephews Johnny and Ricky Limas.

He is survived by his wife, Raquel Ruiz, sons, Noe Gonzalez Jr. (Irma), Norberto Gonzalez, daughter, Veronica Izaguirre (Rolando) all of Edinburg, siblings, Snowy Limas, Mary Jane Vasquez, Angelita “Angie” Imholt, Mary Ellen Nuñez (Fidel+), Jesusita Limas, and Jose Gonzalez (Rosie), thirteen grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
