Donna- Robert Edward Machen peacefully passed away on his 80th birthday, February 5, 2014 at Canterbury Court in Harlingen, TX. He was born in Donna, TX. He and his wife lived and raised their family on the same piece of property he was born on.

He taught his children and grandchildren the value of the great outdoors and the knowledge he has given them will be carried on to a new generation. Bobby was an amazing cook and he enjoyed being in charge in the kitchen. Many wonderful meals were prepared by he and his lovely wife. The family had a nickname for him, they called him "The Potentate" (the man in charge).
He will be greatly missed by all.
