Rosemarie C. Graham

Weslaco: Rosemarie C. Graham, 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco. On July 28, 1939, Rosemarie was born to Andrew and Annie Crist in Brownsville, Texas. Rosemarie’s father served in the US Army for his entire career, so Rosemarie moved often. She cherished her time in Japan and made lifelong friends.
Rosemarie married John Robin Graham, and they had four children. Rosemarie worked as a Registered Nurse and spent most of her career working for Knapp Medical Center and Thurmond Eye Associates in Weslaco. Rosemarie was a natural caregiver and showed genuine compassion to her patients. She always made everyone around her feel special, so Rosemarie created priceless friendships throughout her life, receiving the Frist Humanitarian Award while working at Thurmond.
Rosemarie was a talented artist and enjoyed painting and drawing. She was also very generous and would donate much of her artwork to local charities, which would auction them at fundraiser events. Rosemarie also adored her furry and feathered friends and always had several pets around the house.
Rosemarie was a devout Catholic, and her faith never wavered. Her faith was apparent in Rosemarie’s life as a wife, nurse, mom, and friend.
Rosemarie is preceded in death by her husband, John Robin Graham, brothers Andrew Frank Crist, Floyd Smith, sister, Martha Iris Louya, and all of her loving pets.
She is survived by her children John “Jack” Robin Graham II, Andrew Bradley Graham (Donna), both of Weslaco, Christopher Graham (Marianne)of McAllen, and Carrie Srodulski (Mark) of Virginia, 7 grandchildren, Cameron Srodulski, Patrick, Ashley, Timothy, Andrew, Robert, and Thomas Graham, and 2 pet birds, Rosie and Festus.
Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 12th, at 10 am, at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Weslaco. Burial will be private.
