Beautiful description of our beloved “Alice†as I would affectionately call her. I had several opportunities to visit Ms. Alice at her home when she was just beginning to have her whole world turn inside out for her. I visited again when things seemed to be getting worse and I would sit and listen offering as much help as I could and giving her support and sympathy that she so badly needed at the time. Yes, as the description of Alice clearly depicts her- -she would light up a room as soon as she came in to mingle with friends. Indeed she had a heart of gold and great love for all her family in spite of family turmoils that occur in families. How that poor girl seemed to survive all that is beyond anyone’s comprehension! Seeing her in such devastes instances, I even offered to take her to Houston to visit her loving daughter that she had not seen in years. Of course with all the demands of the family at home, she never was able to make it up there.
I visited again when I could see that she was totally drained of all her energy- -taking care of her husband 24/7 - -and keeping up with her loving grandchildren. As we were Alice’s home care provider, she became well known with of our circle of employees: Sandra, Yoli, Elena, Diana and I and even Dr. Yolanda Hill would all reach out to help out as much as we could. And yet all the help just felt so far-fetched🥲.
Alice now rests in the hands of our Lord together with her soul mate and her beloved son. Alice, we know you fought your battle with all the power in you. Now, is the time that you will enjoy the beautiful and eternal life with your family in heaven.
Love you dearly and will miss you always: from the entire staff at FIRST CHOICE IN-HOME CARE our deepest condolences to the whole family and may our dear friend forever rest in eternal peaceðŸ™.
