Maria E, Tokarz
Antonia was a bright light in my Life. I'm so glad that Antonia shared my childhood with me and my baby photo's that I never saw until I was 50 years old. Now, I'm 62 yrs old and accidently I went on line to see if I can get her phone number today and wish her Happy Holidays until I saw the obituaries and saw her name that she passed in June, 2015...
If it wasn't for Antonia I would of never found out my mother's secret all these years until I was 50. I flew to Weslaco, Texas where I was born and couldn't wait to meet her for the 1st time.
I remember the first time I met my aunt Antonia and her words were: "Maria Elena I knew someday you would come and see me"......I always had that feeling that something was not right and everyone forbidded me to go to Weslaco, Texas. I followed my instincts
and Antonia brought so much joy to my Life. It was they way she explained to me and
I never shared that moment with my mom. I didn't want to hurt her feelings and whatever
my mom did it was for a reason. I forgive......this is what Antonia taught me......
