Betty and Denys established long standing friendships over 20+ years of breakfasts 3 days every week. As members dropped off over the years, Betty, Olivia and my mom Louann kept the Tuesday and Thursday tradition going. We added 3 Lindas last winter season but Betty was the core. She insisted on driving one of those mornings every week.
And I appreciate that Betty put up with me in quilting group, despite the fact that I don't sew. I brought Mom every week. My height came in handy when moving the squares around the display wall. I am also a good schlepper. Her eye for color (other than blue) and her knowledge of technique can't be replaced.
So glad I got to hang with her one full season.
