Buenaventura Acosta de Flores

Mercedes- Buenaventura Acosta de Flores, 89, entered into her eternal resting place Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Valley Baptist Medical Center. She was born July 13, 1925 in Estacion 14, San Luis Potosí. She was preceded in death by her Husband of 40 years, Laurencio Flores, loving son, Tereso Flores, father, Brigido Acosta and mother, Sofia Jaramilla.

Buenaventura Acosta de Flores is survived by her daughters, Victoria Cabrera (Rogelio Cabrera+), Maria Guadalupe Vallejo( Ramiro Vallejo), Maria de Jesus Martinez( Manuel Martinez), and her son, Agapito Flores. She had 28 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.

Buenaventura enjoyed sewing, crocheting and raising farm animals. She enjoyed sitting outside on sunny days. She will be remembered for her loving nature,sense of humor and quick smile.

Visitation will be held Sunday, February 15th, from 4pm-9pm, with a Rosary at 7:00pm.
A Mass will be held Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:00 am at San Martin de Porres in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Sacred Park Cemetery in Mercedes.
