As cousins I played with Chris in Roanoke, VA when he was a tiny boy. Just last year I got to know him again at our home in south Alabama. My husband and I and my sister enjoyed boating with him and Norma on Wolf Bay. We had two very happy visits and got to learn about his life during all the years that slipped by while he was growing up and raising a family. I'm so sorry to lose him now and send heartfelt condolences to Norma and his family.

Still can’t believe this, prayers for Norma and family. Chris was well known at Leisure World and will be greatly missed. Will treasure the times we’ve shared at our house back north as well as in Leisure World. Always good memories of our times together playing all the silly games. Will always be near for you Norma. Love ya! 🌹
I will always remember Chris calling card bingo, I think he enjoyed arguing with us when we complained about him not calling our card, especially Elvin's. We will miss him at shuffle boarding also. Chris was fun to play games with, because he loved playing, and enjoyed playing most any games. We will miss him in the years to come.
Our prayers and condolences to Norma and the boys.

I will miss hearing his laughter, it was infectious. See you when you're back, Norma.
Chris was fun to work with on projects in the park. He always gave a helping hand to others. The park will miss him.
We met chris and Norma when they moved to leisure world and parked near us. we enjoyed visiting with them and playing cards and shuffle board with them. Chris helped organize and run some of the card games. he also worked hard on the sports compex.
We are happy we were able to share a friendship and we will miss him. our condolences we send to Norma and their children.

How true, that he helped everyone and would love to talk to anyone. Still love to tell the story of fishing for giant carp. Randy: “dad, do I have a bite?” Chris: “nah that ain’t no fish...OH YES HE DOES!” Reels in a 10 lb carp.
The picture of Chris says it all. Just give him a place to fish and he was happy. Also made a great batch of chili as well as other things. Going to miss him. Hugs to Norma and family.
