Debbie was my friend at Georgia Tech about 30 years ago. As I look back, she was a true friend and that, apparently, is quite rare. I remember her beautiful presence, and I have missed her. I just discovered her passing and will miss her even more. Good-bye, Deb. Maybe we’ll get to laugh together again someday.
I just recently heard about Debbie's passing. My heart feels for all of her family. My prayers are with all of you. I remember her always happy. May she rest in peace.

My condolences to the Villalon family. I was so sad to hear this news but what a wonderfully written testament of the life and legacy of this beautiful soul! Dr. Villalon was my high school biology teacher and seeing her passion for teaching and creating unique opportunities for us as students only further inspired me to pursue a career in science and major in biology. Hey legacy lives on in the number of lives she touched.
