Efrain Rivera's Obituary
Donna-Efrain Rivera, 85, passed away on Sunday, March 5th, 2023 at Aurora House in Weslaco. Efrain was born on March 4th, 2023 to Epolito and Ansuncion (Alvarado) Rivera in Mexico. He moved to Donna in 1965, where he met his future wife, Maria.
Efrain was a hard worker. He and Maria migrated up north to support their family. Efrain worked for Tyson Chicken many years in Joplin, Missouri. He worked for numerous packing sheds and farmers in the Rio Grande Valley and spent the last several years at Rio Queen Citrus. Efrain retired at the age of seventy four.
Efrain is preceded in death by his parents, Epolito and Ansuncion Rivera. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria, sons, Jesus "Jesse" Rivera (Hermelinda), Hector Rivera (Janie), and Jorge Rivera.
