RIP Mrs. GALLOWAY. She was my English teacher in 6th grade at Central Elem. In Edcouch Texas. I enjoyed her class so very much and learned a lot. Mrs. GALLOWAY later became our Home Economics teacher at EEHS. Ironically, she became my neighbor when my husband I bought a home on South Travis Ave. In Elsa, Texas. We remained neighbors for many years until a few years ago. The Galloways moved to Weslaco and we hadn't seen Mrs Galloway since. I did hear that she was ill for some time. I am truly sorry to hear of her passing, but feel tranquil in knowing that she rests peacefully in a much better place. I will, however, never forget my English teacher while in 6th grade and then again in 8th grade. She was a great teacher. I wish to express my most sincere condolences to the family. God bless you all. Love Always, Linda Rodriguez Garcia.

Mrs. Galloway was truly a caring, loving, and fun teacher. She raised beautiful children of her own and cared for all her students in such a loving, patient manner. We need more teachers, friends, acquaintances, and neighbors like her. May God welcome her into His kingdom, and strengthen her family. Dolly Morgan
