I was an anxious young freshmen at University of Texas when I first met your father out in Sonora, TX. What a kind and gentle spirit he had! I still remember another visit when a platform was created out on the ranch for dancing. Many blessings and comfort to all of you!
Dear Linda, Bryan, and Hilary I was so sorry to hear about James. I know the service will be a wonderful celebration of a life well-lived. I wish we could be there to remember James with you. \n\nHard to let our loved ones go -- I still wish I could talk to my Mom every Sunday night! \n\nI remember the night James brought you over to my parents' house before you all married and we were all so excited especially my mom to meet a new EastTexas Cousin ! Somehow we are related through cousin Ed Link or Henry Link I think!\nYou and James were always so generous in sharing yourselves and your home with all of us.\n\nWe miss seeing you all and when we have seen each other it always seems the years fall away and it was like yesterday!\n\nPrayers for you all and hope we can have a visit sometime! Will try to call sometime soon. We remember James - a kind man with a twinkle in his eye. Keep the memories that make you smile close to your heart . Love Sarah and Preston Neely\n
