Jane Ann Fulcher's Obituary
Donna – Jane Ann Fulcher, 73, passed away on November 28, 2025, at DHR Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1952, in Weslaco, Texas, to Clyde and Bonnie McWhorter.
Jane Ann grew up in Donna and was an active member of the Donna High School D’Ettes. She graduated in 1970 and, shortly after, married the love of her life, Jimmy Wayne Fulcher, on June 12, 1970.
Jane Ann was devoted to her family. She was a dedicated homemaker who lovingly cared for her daughters while Wayne worked out of town. She was known for her open door and welcoming heart—always willing to host weekend slumber parties filled with laughter, friends, and a house full of girls.
Creative by nature, Jane Ann enjoyed painting, crocheting, and crafting. She also loved her pets, especially her dog, BB. Her greatest joy, however, came from her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Wayne Fulcher; her parents, Clyde and Bonnie McWhorter; and her mother-in-law, Lucille Fulcher.
Jane Ann is survived by her daughters, Melissa Neuhaus (Lance) and Mona Shamlian (Steven); her grandsons, Clayton Neuhaus, Colton Neuhaus, and Cayde Shamlian; her brothers, James McWhorter (Kathy) and Gary McWhorter (Cora); and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Jane Ann’s lifelong friends, Winona Hood and Vickie Carol, for their faithful care and companionship.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. at McCaleb Funeral Home. A celebration of Jane Ann’s life will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 10 a.m., officiated by Rev. Chris Vos. She will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jimmy Wayne, at Highland Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Shamlian, Lance Neuhaus, Clayton Neuhaus, Colton Neuhaus, Cayde Shamlian, and Jerry Mize.
