Aunt Janis I will always remember you. I was a child and we were so poor. You took me to your house you lead me to your bedroom and told me to pick any thing I wanted. I picked two dolls you had on a shelf hanging on your wall. And I’ll never forget you and Georgie washing my mouth out with soap LOL. Love you forever you’re very kind woman. 😇❤️
Definitely a real lady, kind and gracious. Janis will be missed. Heartfelt sympathy to all family.

I am so sorry that Janice passed away. She was such a nice person and always dressed and acted like a real lady. I know Linda will miss her terribly. Linda taormina
Janis was a special person. She was a dependable and loyal friend. I never heard her speak badly of any person. She had all the qualities of a leader but she never considered herself above others. May her family be comforted with memories of a life well lived.
Janis will be missed by so many . I met her years ago in Weslaco High School . My late husband , George Faires was also a friend of Janis’s. My prayers are with the family .
Janis and I first met through Bible Study Fellowship, we subsequently were members together of several other clubs and organizations. I helped her with her genealogy and she joined Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames 17th Century. She never said no, always ready to help and be involved. I always thought of her as "perfect" in her appearance and attitude. She was a very special friend to me, and I already miss her. Heaven is brighter with her presence.
