I got to connect with Jerry again after many years. I was one of the young cousins so ee did not play much together but I do remember sitting on my front porch watching my dad play football in our front yard with my oldest brother Jacky, with several cousins, Jerry and little Howard, plus the neighborhood boys would get in on the game. I recall those happy days, the guys all playing and enjoying their rough play, but most importantly I recall them laughing so much and truly enjoying each other's company. They all had those full face smiles that I call good treasures. \n\nJerry use to call me often after ee connected again but this time as adults. My father died when I eas 9, Jerry ise to tell me stories about him working with my dad during the summer. He told me important things I never knew, and also things people didn't want to tell me because they didn't want to see me sad, bitI treasure Jerry because he always told me the truth even if it was an ugly truth. People like that are rare, but I also have a few other family members like that. \n\nI had been missing Jerry along with my aunt LaWanda. We knew he probably died because he was so faithful in calling and answering our calls. \n\nJerry is truly missed. I love this picture of him. That is the eyes and smile that I had known my whole life. I saved this picture and will have it printed. I do love my cousin Jerry.
