Jesusa A. Guajardo's Obituary
Weslaco, TX- Jesusa A. Guajardo passed away to be with our Lord on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Knapp Medical Center. Mrs. Guajardo was born August 6, 1933 to Gabino and Nicolasa Aldava.
She met her future husband, Gonzalo Guajardo at age 12, while he was working at the ranch of her great uncle. They married on September 9, 1950. She worked alongside her husband for years, migrating to the northern states to provide for their family. Together they raised 12 children, instilling the values of honesty, hard work and education. All 12 children graduated high school, with some earning college degrees.
She found her greatest joys in life by tending to her plants; nurturing them with the same patience and devotion that she had shown her family. She had a special gift for sewing, crocheting, and embroidery. With every stitch she created, it will forever wrap us in warmth and remind us of her tenderness, creativity, and unwavering love.
