I was a sophomore in highschool when I first met Rene. We were introduced by a mutual friend Juan Amaya. Rene told me right there and then, that he wanted to be my Sister's Man, and he was serious. My Sister thought we were both crazy. One day Rene came by our house and introduced himself to my Sister, and from that day on they were together. Rene was such a sweet loving kind man. His life Made a difference in my life. We had trucking in common and it was our thing. But most of all he loved God, and Yevette was the love of his life and then his children and grandchildren and of course his truck and George Strait.
