Jose Luis Rincones' Obituary
Jose Luis Rincones, son of Jose and Elva Rincones, passed away on October 17, 2025. He is survived by his former wife and friend, Cassandra Rincones; his daughter, Caley Jo Wrinley, and daughter-in-law, Molly Wrinley; and his son, Christian James Rincones.
Joe graduated from Weslaco High School in 1996 and began his law enforcement career as a U.S. Border Patrol agent in 1998, stationed in Hebbronville, Texas. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in Criminology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 2001. In 2005, after completing training at Quantico, he became a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Over his 23-year career, he served in McAllen, Texas; Fajardo, Puerto Rico; and Houston, Texas, where he later retired. Joe was a quiet, strong, and proud man. Among his many life achievements, none meant more to him than being a father. His children were his greatest source of pride and joy. He was immensely proud of his children and all they accomplished.
He is also survived by his six siblings: Estella Rendon, Noe Rincones, Yvonne Gonzales, Lucy Caballero, Henrietta Rincones, and Victoria Rincones-Covarrubias.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. His family deeply appreciates the continued thoughts, prayers, and support from loved ones during this time
