Pharr- José Peña, 58, passed away on Friday, August 7the, 2020 at Edinburg Regional Hospital. He was born on March 19th, 1962 to Cesar Peña and Guadalupe Escamilla.
José worked as an electrician. He was an avid reader and loved to read about all subjects. He had an extensive collection of books. José was the most humble, lovable, and caring person. He always had a good joke and used just the right amount of sarcasm.
He loved his children and granddaughter and his hugs were the most loveable tight hugs anyone could ask for. Jose always had the best advice, as we grew older, we learned to appreciate it.
He is survived by his wife, Elda Tovar, son, Armando Peña, Daisy Olmedo (Josue), granddaughter, Rebecca Olmedo, brothers, Cesar Peña, Braulio Peña, Oscar Peña, and Saul Peña, sisters, Aida Peña, Beatriz Peña, and Violeta Peña.
