Joe was always so kind to me on my many visits to Georgie and Nena\u2019s house. One time I knew I\u2019d be arriving very late, and I told them not to wait up for me. I pulled in their driveway about 1:30 in the morning, and there was Joe, waiting for me on the porch. I was happy to have known Joe. God bless you all.
I remember when I was a young teenager. We were picking potatoes in Alabama. Tio Lito brought his family there for their vacation. I will bet it was a surprise to Sylvia, Lydia and Cindy that they would be spending their vacation sweating in a potato field with all their Texas relatives. What happy \"tater days\" memories. Thank you for taking us all to see Lookout Mountain and Rock City, even though I only made it as far as the parking lot. Who knew the admission tickets were so outrageously expensive. it remains a happy memory for me.\n
Tio Lito was a special man in my life. He made Santa Claus real to us in Texas when we came back here from Illinois. He was sweet and funny and had a special charm that always made you feel special. I have many happy memories of him sprinkled throughout my childhood. Tio Lito was a charmer to the end. I know everyone will miss him, but he had such a full and beautiful life. What a reunion when he arrived in heaven.
