Terry, Both Barbara and I were deeply saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Joe was one of the first soldiers I met as a young trooper when I was first posted to the RCD's in Gagetown....many years ago. He was always smiling, a happy "go lucky" guy! I remember well the trips to Cape Breton with Joe. Although I have not seen Joe in many years, Barbara was in contact through facebook. Both Barbara and I have lovely memories of you both, Terry and our time in Gagetown, all young newly married couples, hanging out together. May Joe Rest in Peace and save a place for this old crewman and we will fire a few down range when I get there. God Bless you Terry, you are in our prayers.

So very sorry to hear of Joes passing, My Condolances Terry to you and all his family. Joe was always such a good natured guy. He spent many times at our house as teenagers he hung around with my sister Helen and friends.We lived across the street from Gerard and Dot Egan and are cousin to Tom & Donna.., Hugs Sandra &Gordie Turnbull.

So very sorry to hear of Joe's passing. We were neighborhood friends as children. His dad operated a store, and my grandmother, Jessie Murphy operated a small candy store in #2. Joe was always a very nice guy. Condolences to all his family. RIP Joe.

Joe and Mike Davio and I did basic training together in 1964 along with Sparky Clark. We were together with Buddy and Carol Tobin as well.He always had a smile for everyone. Although it is long ago I still remember Joe. We had some great times while serving in Germany with the Lord Strathcona's. I am saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

Terry. it is so hard to express how Bud and I feel. Joe and you have been our best friends for 48 yrs. I find it so hard to believe that Joe is gone. He will be in our hearts forever. Joe always had the nicest smile of anyone, he always followed the whereabouts of our girls, and their children. Our prayers are with you Terry, anytime you need us just let us know. Joe and I did Basic & Trades training together in Borden and were posted to Germany together in 1964 to the FGH. Then we were Sergeants together in the Straths in the '70's and I still have some incriminating photos of us together to prove it! Rest in peace, Joe and my condolences to the family. Mike Davio.
