LaVonne was a true Christian lady through & through. She knew her Bible & was a real prayer warrior. She & Ardean loved their church & church family. Their kids were in my Junior Sunday School Dept. Roy & Ardean were deacons together & they were all in choir together. I spent lots of fun days working in the FBC kitchen along side LaVonne & Tim during Vacation Bible School & special events. I looked forward to each work day to hear a story from LaVonne about her family or the progress on one of her projects that she was working on. The past several years we were in Sunday School class together. I also felt a special bond with LaVonne because we both were from Illinois. LaVonne, we will all miss you. You left us many precious memories. My sincere love & sympathy to all the family.

Mrs. Mc Daniel is a legacy to me. She was a wonderful model and teacher at FBC in Weslaco. I remember sleep-overs at her home for YWA’s..... waffles with whipped cream and strawberries on top for breakfast. She will, no doubt, continue her loving ways in Heaven. Joanne Sansing
My deepest sympathy to the McDaniel family. Praying for you. Sharon Lorance Gerstman
