Lloyd Edward "Ed" Brown's Obituary
Lloyd Edward "Ed" Brown- 81, passed away on Monday, March 13th, 2023, at Aurora House in Weslaco. Ed was born on April 17th, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri area, and raised by George and Carilyn Brown in De Soto, Missouri. Ed worked as a tax accountant most of his life.
After retiring in early 2000, Ed began wintering in the Rio Grande Valley. He moved to Bit'O'Heaven RV Park in Donna in 2009.
Ed was a great dancer and could never get enough. From square dancing to stepping and a little Tejano in between, Ed was talented and had the moves. Ed was also a lot of fun and loved a good joke. He could light up any room with his humor and smile.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, George and Carilyn Brown, his wife, Marilyn Brown, brother, Kent Brown, and sister, Roxie Zehnie.
Ed is survived by his wife, Maria Dee Brown; children, Phillip Edward Brown (Gretchen), Tina Lynn Buie (Chris), Cindy Davis (Scott), and Denise Bell; brothers, George Brown and David Brown; sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
