Sending condolences and prayers. I vividly remember Mrs. Whitley. She was one of the inspirations for me to become an English Language Arts teacher. She was an excellent teacher. She had an aura of peace that as children, we could feel. Great loss, but for her, great gain as she has gone for her reward.

So many beautiful blessings! Peggy was a beautiful soul inside and out! Everyone who was blessed to know her loved her and felt blessed to be in her presence! She will be dearly missed by all! When Roy & I moved to John Knox Village, we lived right across the street from Peggy & Homer. They were special, friendly people. All of their friends & neighbors spent many an evening sitting out in their driveway visiting & catching up on all the latest local news. They kept water in the bird bath & threw bird seed out in the driveway for all the birds. Peggy continued this even after Homer passed away. Sweet memories.
