My sincerest condolences to the Villescas and Sepulveda Families. I was sad to hear that Carmen had died. I had been praying for her recovery. She fought a good fight and lived life to the full. I am convinced that Our Blessed Mother Mary, Mother of God, herself came to take Carmen to her eternal home. Carmen died on the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Carmen loved Our Lady very much, so it is only fitting that She herself would come to take Carmen to her Son, Jesus Christ, the Light of Salvation. I can just see Our Lady presenting her to Jesus saying, "Son, here is Carmen, I love her." What a joyful embrace must have taken place! It is sad to have Carmen physically gone from this present life; nonetheless, Jesus promised He was going before us to prepare a place for us (in heaven). Carmen walks the streets of gold in heavenly Jerusalem, but is spiritually present with each person who loved her so dearly. She lives forever in the hearts of so many.
Thank you for such a beautiful family rosary. I am sure Carmen was very pleased with it.
The family members' testimonies of Carmen's life and giving heart is a legacy to the family. Carmen was beautiful inside and out, she lived as Christ willed, giving of self for others.
Rejoice, Carmen, you are truly home. We, too, shall one day follow.
Joe, thank you for being such a good husband to Carmen. She loved you very much.
God bless each of you and may your faith sustain you. May God embrace you in his love and bring you peace.
A friend,
