What a wonderful legacy Mrs. Pullen gave to Weslaco, those who she taught, and those who she mentored! I was one of the privileged ones who had the great honor of working with her as her secretary when we heIped set up and open two of the then-new Airport Elementary School and a few years later the Mary Hoge Academy. We were so proud. And I thoroughly enjoyed my years with this incredibly strong woman! Thank you, Mrs. Pullen, for being part of the fabric that makes me ME. May you rejoice in God's presence!

God Bless Mrs Pullen and her family knowing that she had a huge impact on the lives of so many people. She was my principal my 2nd year of teaching in Weslaco when we opened Airport Drive Elementary. She was a tough administrator with high expectations for her staff and students and an inspiration to all. May she rest in eternal peace!

Thoughts and prayers to the family of Martha Pullen. She was my mentor when she gave me the opportunity to become her Assistant Principal. I learned so much from Mrs. Pullen. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity she gave me to learn from her on how to become a successful school administrator. My success over the years as a Principal is attributed to what Mrs. Pullen taught me. Weslaco ISD was very fortunate to have her as a teacher and school administrator.

I had the great honor to work with Mrs. Pullen. She was a great leader an excellent principal. I always tell the story of how I drove her to her house to change out of her professional attire. It was my 1st day of work and the first flood of the Roosevelt elementary. She was wearing a blue and white dress with blue pumps and with her keys on a big wrist ring. I drove her in my brother's 4x4 ford bronco with big tires. We drove out of the high water came back to the school. Great memory. Prayers for all the family. Rest in peace Mrs. Pullen. 100 years an awesome BlessingðŸ•¯ðŸ¤ðŸ™

Mrs. Pullen was the best teacher I had in my 12 years in school in Weslaco. She made math fun, and was the driving force behind our Louise Black Elementary number sense team's sweep of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at the district competition in the late 60s. I wish her family God's comfort and warm memories.

It is with a sad heart that I read of Mrs. Pullenâ€™s passing. I remember her when she taught Elementary school at Louise Black in Weslaco. I loved being in her class and being her student. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends. Wow 100 years. God took a beautiful person and made her an angel. Rest in Eternal Peace Mrs. Pullen.
