Thank you for your kind words, May God bless you and your family.
Roel (Roy) Was my best friend in our youth, from grade school at Bingham elementary and through our teenage years until the Moreno family left Michigan to move back to Texas.
Many memories rushing through my mind especially concerning the glue in the Moreno families dynamic, Olivia (Lily) or as I knew her respectfully Mrs Moreno.
She was always loving and gracious to me, and made me feel like part of the family. I traveled with them from Michigan down to Texas in the old station wagon when Roy and I were in Junior high, ... and I was with them all during the Moreno families most devastating tragedy, The loss of their youngest son and brother Daniel (Danny), A time I will never forget .
I remember sometimes I would watch Mrs Moreno cook, and the smell walking into that house at 1010 Hickory St in Lansing was incredible. I believe that she really enjoyed cooking for her family. What a great cook she was. Olivia's mother must have taught her well, and the last time I visited her Mother in Salineno she cooked breakfast for my friend and l, Always gracious just like the daughter she influenced so well. What a kind lady she was. I feel so blessed to have known them both.
My many memories of Olivia, José and the whole Moreno, and Canales families could fill a book.
God bless her and her entire Grand family legacy.
With much love and in Christ Jesus,
Fredrick Gee, and Family.

My beautiful grandma “wela†you will deeply be missed, there is no words to express the way I felt to hear of your sudden loss.
My wela was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to us all. She was a strong independent women that worked up until she could no more; she was able to manage her home all on her own. She truly was an amazing example to her granddaughters and daughters. She always had a beautiful radiant smile and had an infectious laugh that you could never forget.. She would love going to the daycare and spend time there working on crafts from crocheting outfits for Barbies or making Easter baskets, most of these were gifts that she was working on were for her great grandchildren.
She was a beautiful soul inside and out that will deeply be missed.
I pray that she is now resting, happy and laughing her biggest laugh with her biggest smile surrounded by her parents and her two sons, Danny and my father, Roel “Royâ€
Love you Wela.
