Pablo Garcia's Obituary
Weslaco: Pablo Garcia, 61, passed away on Saturday, April 8th, 2023. Pablo was born on February 9th, 1962, to Pedro Garcia and Cruz Perez in Mexico.
Pablo met his soulmate, Leticia Mendiola when they were both teenagers, living in Reynosa. After Pablo and Leticia were married, they moved to Mercedes, where they raised three children and were inseparable for the rest of their lives.
Pablo's disability forced him into the role of a stay-at-home father. Pablo took this role seriously and was the best husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ask for. He kept their home clean and organized. Pablo was also always available when you needed a shoulder to lean on or some advice.
Pablo's personality was larger than life. He had lots of friends, many of whom were lifelong friends. He was honest and direct, which was appreciated in the long run. Pablo's disability didn't discourage him. Instead, Pablo became fearless and stronger than almost anyone.
Pablo is preceded in death by his father, Pedro Garcia, and sister, Nora Garcia.
Pablo is survived by his loving wife, Leticia; his mom, Cruz Garcia; sons, Pablo Garcia Jr. and Oscar Garcia; daughter, Judy Garcia; siblings, Silvia Garcia, Pedro Garcia, Alejandra Garcia, Alfredo Garcia, Juan Antonio Garcia, and Corina Garcia, grandchildren, Mariana, Emily, Pablo III, Isaac, Caleb, and Eva Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
