It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ramiro Peralez, Jr., who entered into eternal rest on June 5th, 2026, at the age of 60. He was born on October 13th, 1965, in Weslaco, Texas, to Ramiro and Maricela Peralez.
Ramiro Jr. was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many. Defined by his strength and resilience, he will be remembered for his servant’s heart, sense of humor, and the enduring love he shared with family and friends. His appreciation for life's experiences made him a joy to be around.
A longtime resident of Weslaco, Texas, Ramiro enjoyed life's simple pleasures and cherished the time he spent with those he loved. He had a passion for fishing, barbecuing, cooking, traveling, and creating connections. He was also an avid fan of science fiction, history, and enjoyed classics such as Star Trek, Star Wars, and other fantasy and adventure stories involving knights, heroes, and exploration. A fan of the Dallas Cowboys, he rarely missed an opportunity to celebrate the game with loved ones.
Ramiro was a faithful attendee of his family church and found comfort in his faith throughout his life.
He is survived by his loving family, his mother, Maricela Peralez; brother, Russell Peralez (Celina); and sister, Marlina Peralez.
He leaves behind his cherished nephews, Jobe, Kyden, and Grayson Peralez (children of Russell and Celina Peralez); and his beloved nieces and nephew, Moriah, Melanie, Mallory, and Anthony Peralez (children of the late Michele Peralez). Alongside his immediate family, he leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Ramiro was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Eloisa Lopez, paternal grandmother, Benita Alexiou, father, Ramiro Peralez, Sr., and his sister, Michele Peralez.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Ramiro is at peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.
The Peralez family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, support, visits, and words of comfort during this difficult time.
