Rebecca Valle Ballesteros' Obituary
El Paso/Weslaco, TX-Rebecca was born on November 11, 1963, in Weslaco, Texas, to Sylvester and Delia Valle. From a young age, she learned the value of hard work, service, and family values that would guide her throughout her life.
Shortly after her graduation, Rebecca moved to Salinas, CA, where she would
make a good life. In her early Thirties, Rebecca moved in with her older sister Linda and her family and lived there for almost 10 years. While living with her sister and family, she met the love of her life, Oscar Ballesteros. Oscar and Rebecca would be married on February 26, 2005, at Boronda Apostolic Church, surrounded by many friends and family. They lived a good life in Salinas, while attending many family gatherings and church services.
Although Rebecca never had children herself, she treated her many nieces and
nephews as if they were her own. During her time in Juarez, she attended many family events to show support for her nieces and nephews.
Rebecca was a woman of true joy. A true lover of Christ and her family. She was
very patient and always willing to stop and listen. Rebecca always demonstrated warm hospitality and an infectious laugh. She loved her family fiercely and cherished every holiday, gathering, and special occasion. Some of the most treasured memories are of
her sending her care packages to her nieces and nephews, and most recently to her
great nieces and nephews.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, Oscar Ballesteros; Her mother, Delia Valle;
Her sisters, Delma Espinoza, Sylvia Perez, and Antonia Gomez; Her brothers, Pablo
Valle, Sylvester Valle Jr., Roy Valle, Robert Valle, Armando Valle, Isaiah Valle, Oscar
Valle, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is reunited in Heaven with her father,
Sylvester Valle Sr. and his sisters, Hermelinda Robles, Bea Ramirez, and Rosa Valle.
Rebecca will be missed tremendously. But her legacy lives on in the faith she
modeled, the love she gave, the laughter she shared, and the family she cherished.
May we honor her memory by loving deeply, laughing often, serving faithfully, and
holding tight to the hope that one day, we will meet her again.
Psalm 23:1-2 declares, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters."
