Richard was such a great person. My father Victor M. Moncivaiz was friends with him. My dad passed 21 years ago but I remember how much they both loved FORD cars especially mustangs. I remember his model cars, and all the neat stuff he had. I know my daddy welcomed him with open arms and I'm sure they have already started some drag races up there FORD vs CHEVY. May he rest in peace. You were a true friend to my dad till his final dads.

My condolences to the Ortega family, Richard was an amazing person. He always made you feel welcome and gave his time to help you. My memories of Richard building models and working on his Mach 1 Mustang will always be with me. Homer your brother was a special person and I will miss him. My prayers are with all your family.
To Richards family may God give you the strength to see you through this painful time. Prayers for your family. I met Richard in the 70s the love of fast cars did it. He a Ford guy me a Chevy guy. I spoke with Richard after 30 years , my job brought me to his home. We did not not recognize each other,but after a few minutes of speaking we realized we had met before. After i saw his Ford t-shirt i knew who he was. We spoke remembering old times. He had an awesome Mach 1. He was the only Ford guy i did not mind losing to. Richard you will be missed.
