Rolando Rodriguez's Obituary
Rolando Rodriguez, 66, passed away at his home on June 9, 2026. He was born to Juanita and Enrique Rodriguez, on October 5, 1959, in Weslaco, Tx.
Rolando was known for his passion for football and also basketball- which he played at Weslaco High School. He will also be fondly remembered for his contributions of service at San Martin de Porres, always making the sign of the cross when passing by church, and for his excellent BBQ.
Rolando was a sensitive and selfless man above all. He cared for his parents for over 25 years, as well as neighbors. He was always willing to help at a moment's notice.
Rolando was preceded in death by his sibling, Rachel Yanez.
Rolando never married, but he is survived by his siblings; Joe Rodriguez (Dallas,TX), Richard Rodriguez (San Juan, TX), Rodolfo Rodriguez, Rebecca Driscoll (Rosenberg, TX), Ruben Rodriguez (Grand Prairie, TX), Rogelio Rodriguez (South Bend, IN), and Robert Lee Rodriguez (College Station, TX).
