I remember taking my mom to Alicia's house to pick up some Easter Eggs that I wanted. I asked mom to find someone who sold Easter eggs for me. She said a cousin of hers was selling some. So we went by to pick them up and they were so pretty! Alicia was so cheerful that day and as we spoke to her for a while after picking up the eggs,she made my mom n I laugh and my mom was happy. Alicia started off the afternoon cheerful for my mom! Thank you Alicia! My condolences to All the family! When I was in school, I was friends with San Juanita and later I worked with Sylvia at Gonzalez Elem. and I didn't even know our moms were cousins. Im so sorry for your loss! Among them are our family trips to Disney Land, California and Arizona, as well as her constant presence at my most meaningful personal events. It was with great sadness to hear about the passing of my Tia Alica Zavala. She was my Mom's sister. I will always remember our long conversations on the phone where she shared stories of her and my Mom. She was a blessing to me.
