Natibidad Chapa's Obituary
Harlingen: Nancy F. Chapa, AKA Natibidad F. Chapa, 74, passed away at Valley Baptist Hospital in Harlingen. Nancy was born on December 14th, 1948, in Thorndale, Texas, to Adolph and Mary Helen (Ramos) Flores.
Nancy grew up in Thorndale, where she met her soulmate, Mike P. Chapa. She and Mike raised two boys. Nancy went to work for the Travis State School in Austin, Texas soon after high school, and she retired from there after thirty years.
Nancy was passionate about working out and going to the gym. She also loved going out in town and dancing to Tejano music.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, Adolph and Mary Helen Flores, and her husband, who passed away in 1988, Mike P. Chapa.
She is survived by her sons, Mike A. Chapa and Michael Chapa, siblings, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
As per Nancy's wishes, all services will be private.
