Otila: Remembering and thinking of your beautiful smile. Cristina, Monique and Marcos, your mother was a beautiful lady inside and out. All our love ❤️ from De Leon cousins, Oralia, Lupe, and Margarita. With heart felt condolences 💐 to all her family.
May she Rest in Peace used to see her at mass on Saturdays at 5 may you be rejoicing with our Lord
Rest in peace sweet cousin. We will miss you. 😘
Tila was a woman of deep faith who lived her life in loving service to both her family and to our Lord.
She was a devoted mother who spoke with pride and joy about her three children—Marcos, Christina, and Monique—and whose greatest happiness was seeing their smiles. She also delighted in the lives and accomplishments of her grandchildren, speaking of them with such warmth and gratitude.
She cherished her many childhood memories with her parents and siblings, holding them close to her heart.
In her vocation as a nurse, Tila lived her faith through service, caring not only for her patients but also for anyone in need whom she encountered.
I was truly blessed to have met Tila 12 years ago, the beginning of a beautiful friendship. I will miss her radiant smile and her joyful spirit, always ready with a joke to brighten the day.
Rest now in the peace of Christ, dearest Tila. May the angels lead you into Paradise, and may you rejoice forever in the presence of our Lord. I will carry your memory in my heart always.
With love and prayers,
Sandra Sepulveda
“Mommy Otila, I will forever remember you as a remarkable woman who taught me the true value of hard work and dedication. For over 53 years, you served as one of the finest nurses in the Rio Grande Valley, highly respected by the institutions and companies where you worked, and even recognized in the newspapers of your time.
Thank you, Otila, for the blessing of allowing me to be part of your beautiful family for so many years—a time when I was truly happy, felt the warmth of home, and learned so much from you. I will always cherish the afternoons we spent sharing a meal in downtown Weslaco or attending Mass to thank God for our blessings, your kindness and support in my life, and the many stories and memories you shared from your youth.
Today I mourn your unexpected departure, which leaves a deep void in our lives. May God cover you with the Precious Blood of Jesus, and may you rejoice in Heaven with your beloved husband and all your loved ones, embraced by the immensity of the Almighty.
A toast to your life, your work, and the love you gave.
Thank you, Mommy Otila."
