    Consuelo Treviño

    June 15, 1935 - June 7, 2021

    Consuelo “Chelo” Treviño, age 85, passed away Monday, June 7th, 2021 at her residence in Weslaco, Tx. She was born on June 15, 1935. She was the daughter of Ramon Morales Sr. and Aurelia Morales. Chelo was a lifelong Weslaco resident who raised three sons she was very proud of John, Sam, and Bob. She was employed by Dickies Clothing Factory in Weslaco, Texas for over 40 years until she retired. After retirement Chelo enjoyed gardening, crafting, flower arranging, and was also a very creative jewelry maker. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Ramon Morales Jr., and Israel Morales. She is survived by her sons, John Treviño (Ana) from Alton, Tx., Sam Treviño from Weslaco, Tx., and Bob Treviño (Cori) from Denton, Tx., siblings, Jose Morales, Jesse Morales, Mary Morales, granddaughter, Maritza Trevino, and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held June 8th and June 9th, 2021 at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco, TX with Rosaries at 7:00 pm. Church service will be held at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church at 10:00 am, June 10, 2021. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery, Weslaco, TX, on June 10, 2021, at 11:00 am.
